Tudor Parfitt is Reader in Modern Jewish Studies at the Department of the Languages and Culture of Near and Middle East at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London. He has written on the history of the Jews in Africa and Asia. Emanuela Trevisan Semi is Professor of Modern Jewish and Hebrew Studies at the university of Venice, Italy. She is the president of the Society for the Study of Ethiopian Jewry (SOSTEJE) and president of the Centre for Advanced Studies in the Mediterranean (MERIFOR). |
