She is a retired teacher and the founder of the Delaware chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW), cofounder and original member of the Delaware Governor's Council for Women, and founder of the Delaware chapter of the Older Women's League (OWL). Katherine P. Granfield is her daughter. They both live in Wilmington, Delaware. |
