| Muslim Architecture of South India: The Sultanate of Ma'bar and the Traditions of Maritime Settlers on the Malabar and Coromandel Coasts (Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Goa) Mehrdad Shokoohy is an architect and specialist in the conservations of urban environments. He is Chair of Architecture and Urban Studies at the University of Greenwich, and has a particular interest in the architecture and planning of the Middle East, South and Central Asia. His expertise extends to the fields of literature, history, archaeology, epigraphy and numismatics of these regions. For his contributions to South Asian studies he has been awarded the Degree of Doctor of Science by Heriot-Watt University and the Edinburgh College of Art. |
