Canadian David Bercuson is a military historian, writer, and educator. Bercuson was a special advisor to the Minister of National Defense and is still a member of the Minister of National Defense's monitoring committee. He was a former dean at Calgary College and is currently director of the university's strategic studies program. In addition to writing several scholarly periodicals, Bercuson has written several books including Significant Incident: Canada's Army, the Airborne, and the Murder in Somalia.
