In this study, David Foster offers a reassessment of social realism in Argentine literary production from 1930 to 1950. This expansive study encompasses the work of authors including Berbardo, Kordon, Leonidas, Barletta, Jose Rabinovich, Bernardo Verbitsky, Max Dickmann, Elias Castelnuovo, and Alvaro Junque. It takes as its point of departure the elements of narrative strategy that grant the works of these writers particular interest within the context of contemporary postmodernist writing, especially as regards documentary and mixed-generic texts. |
