Howse Enrest : Ernest Marshall Howse (1902-1993) was a minister, author, and journalist. He served charges in Beverly Hills, California (1934-1935), Westminster United Church in Winnipeg (1935-1948), and Bloor Street United Church in Toronto (1948-1970). He served as Moderator of the United Church of Canada (1964-1966). Howse was the author of several books and his journalism appeared in several major Canadian newspapers, including the Toronto Star and Toronto Telegram, the Winnipeg Free Press and Victoria Sun-Times.
