She has a master of science in counseling and is a licensed primary and secondary teacher. Nancy Tellett-Royce is community liaison at Search Institute and a community- and youth-development expert. She is the former cochair of Children First and the creator of the Speaking of Parenting kit. They both live in Minneapolis.
