Russ Tunney's magical adaptation of The Wolves of Willoughby Chase was first performed at the Layard Theatre, Wimbourne, in 2010. It was originally performed by a cast of five, but it has also been staged by - and is suitable for - much larger casts. Joan Aiken (1924-2004) was an English writer, specialising in thrillers and children's alternative history novels. In 1999 she was awarded an MBE for her services to children's literature. Russ Tunney is a director and playwright who specialises in work for young people. He is the Associate Director of the Nuffield Theatre, where this adaptation premiered. |
