| Global Perspectives on Korean Literature Wook-Dong Kim is Professor Emeritus of the Humanities at Sogang University, Seoul, South Korea. Wook-Dong Kim currently teaches at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Ulsan, South Korea. His research interests range widely from literature to literary theory and translation studies. His major scholarly books include The Edge of Nothing: An Existentialist Reading of William Faulkner , Kazantzakis's Zorba the Greek: Five Readings , and Translations in Korea: Theory and Practice (Palgrave Macmillan). In addition, he is a professional literary translator who has translated many English classic novels into Korean. |
