![]() | Commemorating the Holocaust: The Dilemmas of Remembrance in France and Italy Rebecca Clifford was born in Canada, but moved to Britain in 2003 to carry out doctoral research at the University of Oxford. She completed a DPhil in Modern History at St. Antony's College in 2008. She subsequently held a Junior Research Fellowship at Worcester College, before taking up a lectureship in the History and Classics Department at Swansea University. Since 2008, she has been a contributor to a major collaborative oral history project on 1968 in Europe funded by the AHRC and the Leverhulme Trust; the team's collectively-authored book, Europe's 1968: Voices of Revolt was also published by OUP. |
