He has a research interest in the first decades of Ireland's foreign policy and helped to establish the Documents in Irish Foreign Policy series. He has published a number of articles on Irish foreign policy in the 1920s and 1930s. He has previously worked in Japan, Austria, and Bosnia-Herzegovina and on the Northern Ireland peace process, EU foreign policy, and disarmament issues. He is a graduate of New College, Oxford. |
