WEBSTER is an Assistant Professor of English at Elizabethtown College, Pennsylvania, USA, where she teaches British Romanticism and other courses in British literature. Supported by a British Academy Postgraduate Studentship, she gained her MPhil and DPhil degrees in English Literature from the University of Oxford, UK. In 1999, a Thouron Scholarship enabled her to study and teach English at the University of Pennsylvania; and she has lived and worked in the USA ever since. |
