Burkett-Cadena (Ph.D., Auburn University, 2010) is Research Entomologist in the Department of Global Health at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Both his master's thesis ( Comparative Study of Gravid-Trap Infusions for Capturing Blood-Fed Mosquitoes of the Genera Aedes, Ochlerotatus, and Culex) and doctoral dissertation ( Patterns of Host Use in Mosquitoes: Implications for Virus Transmission ) contributed to this work. He has published 15 professional papers in scientific journals and one book chapter, "Morphological Adaptations of Parasitic Arthropods," in Medical and Veterinary Entomology (Second Edition). |
