Rizwana Abbasi is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of International Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies at the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad, Pakistan. She has taught at many universities in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. She received her PhD from the University of Leicester, UK, specializing in International Security and Nuclear Non-proliferation.
