Guo-Ming Chen is Emeritus Professor of Communication Studies at the University of Rhode Island, USA. He is the founding president of the Association for Chinese Communication Studies. He served as the Executive Director (2008-2014) and President of the International Association for Intercultural Communication Studies (2015-2017).
