 | Blanc de Titre / Blank of Title Susanna Fritscher's installation works cannot be separated from their environment. On the basis of core elements such as space and movement, they directly address our visual perceptions. Among others, this book documents 16 of her completed works, e.g.: the new Vienna Airport (with Baumschlager Eberle) and the Centre des Archives Nationales in Pierrefitte-sur-Seine (with Massimiliano Fuksas). In the first third of the book, the artist explains its guiding concept of artistic space. Together with the book designer Ruedi Baur, she develops a symbiosis of her own art with ink and the printed page. With texts by Philippe Alain Michaud (Centre Georges Pompidou), Sabine Folie (Director of the Generali Foundation), Hugues Fontenas (Hochschule f#65533;r Architektur Val de Seine) and Jean-Luc Nancy (Prof. emeritus, philosopher). Susanna Fritscher, born in Austria in 1960, currently lives and works in Montreuil, Paris. Her work has been shown at numerous exhibitions in France, most recently at the AuT in Innsbruck together with the graphic designer Ruedi Baur. |
